An interdisciplinary major
The OSU PPE major is a collaboration of the Department of Economics, the Department of Philosophy, and the Department of Political Science. PPE majors have access to the internship, research, and other opportunities that are available to students in those departments.

A campus community
PPE majors are encouraged to get involved in the OSU PPE Society, a student organization dedicated to creating an intellectual and social community around PPE outside the classroom.

An international network
The OSU PPE major is part of a network of PPE programs at more than 100 universities around the world. More information is available on the website of the international PPE Society, of which the OSU PPE Society is a chapter.
PPE also has a close relationship with the Center for Ethics and Human Values (CEHV), whose faculty helped create the PPE major and now provide much of its leadership. PPE students take part in many opportunities provided by CEHV, in particular its Civil Discourse for Citizenship program which reinforces key aims of the PPE major.
