Jake Shepherd, a PPE graduating senior, has successfully defended an excellent Honors thesis on "Two Moral Problems for Cash Bail and Its Alternatives."

The thesis was the result of a year-long research project working with advisor Professor Piers Turner (Philosophy). Professors Eric MacGilvray (Political Science) and Paul Bellair (Sociology) served on the thesis committee. 

Congratulations, Jake! In Autumn 2023, Jake will begin law school at the University of Pennsylvania.
