Ayah Elsheikh and Sal Giolando have been awarded the 2023 PPE Prizes for Extraordinary Academic Achievement.

The Prize annually honors up to two undergraduate students in the PPE major for academic excellence in their PPE courses. In addition to the recognition, each honoree receives an award of $250.

Elsheikh is a double major in PPE and International Studies, with a minor in French. She will be graduating from Ohio State in December before attending law school in the fall of 2024.

Giolando is a third-year honors double major in PPE and Political Science. After graduating, he plans to earn a master's degree in secondary education to teach high school social studies.
