Mac Lang, a Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (PPE) major was recently offered a Fulbright-Mitacs Globalink Research Internship (GRI) for the summer of 2021. The GRI program provides support for top undergraduate students from around the world to pursue research at Canadian universities. Mac will be virtually hosted by Professor Owen Waygood of Polytechnique Montréal in Quebec. Using data collected in China and Canada, Mac will study the relationship between people’s travel patterns and their reported emotional/social wellbeing during the COVID-19 lockdown period. In addition to PPE, Mac has a second major in Public Affairs and a minor in City and Regional Planning.
